Welcome to Rear Ends

Mark and Elaine Blumenfeld opened Rear Ends as newlyweds in 1978. As the story goes, Mark wanted to wear jeans to work and opening a clothing store seemed to be the logical next step.  And the rest is history. Mark and Elaine have passed the reigns to their daughter, Ariana Carps, but they are still very present in the store. Retirement looks a little different in a family business.

Our Specialization

Rear Ends specializes in the best in women's denim and casual wear. Ariana and Elaine travel to New York, LA, and Chicago several times a year to find the most current styles at the quality people have come to expect from Rear Ends. At it's core Rear Ends is a jean store, but we expand outwards based on the season's styles and what we believe our clientele will love. In the summer you can find more dresses and skirts, in the fall you can find leather jackets and blazers. As long as you're not looking for a black tie ballgown, you can probably find it at Rear Ends.

We’ve built our reputation on honest and attentive service. We’re happy to let you browse, but when it comes to finding denim, we want to take the burden off your shoulders. We know that one brand’s “straight leg” might be another brand’s “skinny,” and terms like low, mid, and high rise can add to the confusion. That’s why we take the time to learn the nuances of every fit and style so you don’t have to struggle in the fitting room. When you shop with us, you won’t be left on your own. We’ll be outside the fitting room, ready to give you honest feedback and guide you to the look that suits your body best.
